The Boston Celtics have officially added forward Svi Mykhailiuk to their roster. The terms of the contract have not been disclosed, following team policy.

Mykhailiuk, a 6’7″ and 205-pound forward, split his time between the Charlotte Hornets and New York Knicks last season, making 32 appearances (8 starts) and averaging 14.6 minutes per game. He posted career-best three-point shooting at 42.4% while contributing 6.9 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.

The Ukrainian player has appeared in a total of 252 NBA games (54 starts) over his five-year career, previously playing for the Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Lakers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Toronto Raptors. He holds career averages of 6.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game with a shooting percentage of 40.3%. Mykhailiuk was selected by the Lakers in the 2018 NBA Draft with the 47th overall pick.

During his four seasons with the Kansas Jayhawks, the Kansas native participated in 136 collegiate games (70 starts) and averaged 8.7 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. Mykhailiuk set a single-season three-point record for Kansas with 115 made threes and earned honors in the All-Big 12 Conference during his senior year.
