Lopetegui joined Wolves last November and managed to lead the club to stay in the Premier League. However, both the manager and the club have acknowledged that differences of opinion have arisen over certain issues and have agreed that an amicable end to the contract would be the best solution for all parties.

Negotiations have been conducted with the utmost respect and sincerity in recent weeks, providing the club with time to find a successor while Lopetegui’s team continue to finalize their preparations to ensure that the squad is in the best possible shape for the new Premier League season.

As well as Lopetegui, members of his team – Pablo Sanz, Juan Peinado, Oscar Carlo, Edu Rubio, Borja de Alba Alonso and Daniel Lopetegui – are all leaving the club.
